Championing Greatness

Within every child’s life reside the unique qualities and talents God has given him or her.  Psalm 139:12 (NAS) says, “You formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mother’s womb.”   And Psalm 139:3 tells us that the God who made us is deeply acquainted with all our ways.

At Trinity, it’s not just in the classroom, but in many extracurricular activities, that we champion these gifts and abilities of our students, giving them opportunities to shine in their own unique ways.

Trinity’s mission is to educate the whole child under the leadership of Christ, participating with parents in the admonition in Proverbs 22:6 to “train up a child in the way he or she should go.”

Through Trinity’s student leadership, the arts, and athletics, we encourage our students to explore those ways they should go in order to discover as fully as possible who Christ has made them to be.

In Dennis Waitley’s classic, Ten Seeds of Greatness, he writes,

“It’s not what you are that holds you back; it’s what you think you’re not.”

We believe a special part of our calling at Trinity is to help students think Christianly about Whose and what they are.
